Hot Head Gear in Kobe

It was around 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) in Kobe, Japan, last Saturday when the JapanBallers attended a game outdoors at Skymark Stadium. I saw a lot of fans trying to beat the heat with interesting head gear. Here are my favorites.

Nothing beats an umbrella for shade. Unless you're near an oak tree, which was not available here.

This lady is wearing a simple, yet practical, lid.

Another simple, yet practical (left) with desperate (right)

I assume the towel provides shade and sops up sweat, while the hat holds the towel in place.

The same principle is applied here, but what's the deal with the long black gloves?

She draped herself with a towel to block the fierce sun. The cute little animal is a nice touch.

The handkerchief: Good idea. The alcoholic beverage: Not so much.
