Getting My Geek on at NYAF

Being a fan of Japan means discovering aspects of the culture about which I previously had no knowledge. The subcultural realm of anime, manga, and cosplay is still new and confusing to me, so I'm at the New York Anime Festival/New York Comic Con to learn more.

The three-day celebration of geekdom began today, and I've seen and heard some interesting things.
